This solenoid switch is used to reverse polarity on permanent Magnet winch motors with 2 terminal posts.
It will not work on Winch motors with 3 terminal posts.
Applications:
Winch Motors, Windlasses, Hydraulic Pump Motors & Other Reversible Motors that Normally Require Multiple Solenoids. Used on late model Ramsey and other winch and hydraulic applications, and Industrial Equipment.
This solenoid will work only with Permanent Magnet Motors. It will not work with the older style motors with copper field coils.
This solenoid is guaranteed to perform equal or better than the solenoid it is replacing.

1st Customer Review : Works well
Hi there. When I ordered the Solenoid, it came on time and was packaged well. I was using a warn type solenoid before. This one has bigger electrical posts. It's obviously shaped a little different than the normal warn type soenoid, but was an easy substitute, at a much better price. It seems to work well. I'll have to use it for some time, to see how well it holds up. The old solenoid used four bolts to hold it on. This one used two. But I turned it a little and it matched up two of the old bolt holes.
