I bought this as a spare remote for my Viper 5900 alarm. If you have the alarm already, it works exactly the same as the remote that comes with the alarm. Syncing it is very easy, instructions are on the back of the packaging. If you are looking for an alarm...this is only the remote.

Fast shipping, best price you are going to find, easy to program. Couldn't have gone better. The transmitter is exactly like the one that comes with the alarm originally, up to 1 mile range.

Great product easy to use and program, just make sure if you have this remote you check the code on the back because there are 2 different codes that have the same remote one is the 490 and the other is the 7701v as long as you order the right remote programming the remote is a snap.
