1st Customer Review : Not that bad.
I originally was looking at the Viper 5901 systems for my '99 Civic EX but my mom's Honda Pilot had this system so I tried this one instead. Besides being a steal of a price for a DEI unit, the install wasn't terrible either. I added a digital tilt sensor, backup battery, and proximity sensor as well as a stealth install. All of the DEI products worked flawlessly. The range on the remote isn't bad and the alarm has been working well for over 4 months. I am pleased with the product.

2nd Customer Review : its truely a DEI product for a great price
Recomend proffesional installer or knowledge of electrical systems. took me 6 hrs for a very clean install myself...to me it was long and hard b/c of the vehicle but as noted not for the unexperienced.. I strongly recommend adding tilt sensor which is actually more important then impact. Incase your car or truck is getting towed lol.. Kit does come with a remote start bypass switch which can be good incase your partner keys hits the remote start but the 2 way notifies you if the switch is inhibting. Kit comes with very long wiring harness but do note some vehicles may need the imoblizer unit added to it... the range on the 2 way is not too bad meaning i was in the back of walmart and was able to still comunicate with the vehicle and check temp/start/ unlock/violate...your able to check the temp in the vehicle and add on window automation roll up as well..I bought this same unit in the store and should have bought it online. only down side is that it should of came with two 2way...
3rd Customer Review : Works but you should know...
The system is cool and the remote is high tech, but some things we didn't know...
This was installed on my girlfriend's 2012 Ford Fusion. We knew it required the bypass kit so we got the PKALL.While she's learned it's little tricks and is okay with it, I find it a huge frustration that you must use the Avital remote now and not the factory. If you set the alarm on the Avital remote, and accidentally try to unlock with the factory remote, the alarm goes off. If you get out of the car and set the Avital remote before everyone is out and all the doors are closed, the alarm goes off because of the motion sensor, Maybe there's a delay setting that I don't know about?
The remote start button is on the side of the remote, it's small and hard to see and get to especially in the dark. Perhaps that's good, to prevent accidentally starting the car. As expected the range isn't nearly what they claim to be, and it often doesn't start while in the store. A couple time...
