I added this to my SUV about a year ago and it is absolutely fantastic. I have had no problems at all. It was easy to access the android app and the app actually has a couple extra options for parking, etc. I park in a lot next to my building and even the long range typical remote starts wouldnt always work from the window so this was a great alternative. I read the reviews and saw that many had problems with the availability of the app, but I havent had any of those problems. It connects right away (unless my service provider craps out in some of the secluded rooms in my office building) and always starts. I don't work in a 'high-rise' city though so perhaps that might be the cause of some of the others issues.
I agree though that it would be nice to know if the car 'started' or 'shut-off' though. I believe I read that on another review. I havent found a need for it so far though.
I do recommend getting the button key start though. I have often run into...
