2nd Customer Review : Cheap, but not secure
The alarm includes an ignition disable relay - but the way it's designed, the alarm must be actively disabling the ignition while armed. The practical upshot is that if a car thief can find and unplug the big obvious connector on the alarm, your car is no longer disabled, no matter how well the relay is hidden. They should have designed this properly, so that unplugging the alarm left the car disabled.
Also, the valet/programming switch has been combined with the blinking light for convenience. The problem is that this switch is also the alarm's override. All a thief has to do is get into the car, turn on the ignition somehow, and push the extremely obvious alarm button for a couple seconds, and the alarm is disabled. That button is supposed to be hidden somewhere, not blinking in plain sight.
There's no reason they couldn't have made it work properly, but they didn't.
3rd Customer Review : keeps the car secure
This system is a good alarm, nice remotes, dual shock sensors but keep in mind the price you get what you pay for. It doesn't have remote start and the range isn't as good.
I strongly recommend spending your $Money$ on APS787 you will not be disappointed, it has remote start, very very good range, super LOUD siren, horn hookup ability and many more. Invest In Quality and protect Your Property. Prestige APS787 4.5 Stars
