1st Customer Review : Does everything it says
I installed this on my Subaru Outback without using a professional installer. You need a soldering iron to make about 12 wire connections under the dash. The manual is barely sufficient. I used the web (the12volt)to look up specific vehicle info on wire colors and function. It operates perfectly. Love the small key chain remotes with big buttons. The range is very far. The flashing blue LED is a bit too bright and obnoxious but it should deter any thief. Overall, very happy with the quality.

2nd Customer Review : Works as advertised
I bought the CA1151 for my 2012 Tacoma. Nice unit with clear and detailed instructions. Make sure you indentify your vehicle wirings before installation. I went to the website [...] to get the wiring information for my truck. Excellent website to research your vehicle wirings. I used the 2011 Tacoma wiring due to 2012 model was not yet available and did not have any problem. I took one star off because I'm not a big fan of rubber buttons using on the remote; it won't last.

I bought the system here for less than half the retail price. I was thinking of installing the system by myself but then decided to pay an installer $60 to get it done. The system worked very good. I just had to reprogram the system so that it would not make loud beeps when activate/deactivate the alarm. I would buy this again if it was available for such a good price.
