**Most BMW's are pre-wired for a security system. Usually, there is a sticker inside the trunk which indicates if your BMW is pre-wired for a security system. Depending on the year and model of your vehicle, the alarm port will be located in the following areas, behind the glove box, under the rear seat, or other location.
^^ Right Hand (RH) models will come with a different wiring harness and connectors.
***The key blanks will need to be cut at an automotive locksmith to match your BMW key. Our locksmith can cut these keys for ($39.95 for 2 keys). If your BMW is built before 1995, then these keys will function as your original key. If you BMW is built after 1995, then these keys will NOT start your BMW. 1st Customer Review : I'm loving this Alarm
First, If anyone is thinking of buying this alarm go ahead and pull the trigger; BUY IT! It's very easy to install and works great. I especially love the flip-out key/keyless entry remote w/LED light. You can search around, but you won't find a kit like this for the price. I tried and only found this one on Amazon. The only gripe I have is the tech support phone#. The mailbox is ALWAYS full, but they do respond back pretty quick by email and are very courteous.

Honestly the keys could be made of better quality and the range on the alarm could be longer. Besides that it is great to have the extra keys and you could adjust the sensitivity of the alarm.
